Most towns and villages have a staffed tourist office. Look for a sign with a large I on a green background. Tourist information may also be available from information kiosks or local service companies.
In order to get to and move around in FjellNorway you can use NSB’s train service, local buses or express coaches between the large cities of Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim.
The region has good banking and postal services. All villages and small towns have ATMs, while sub-post offices in shops are common in the less populated areas.
In FjellNorway you will find many places with pleasant shopping streets, such as Lillehammer, Fagernes, Gjøvik, Ringebu and Otta. Most towns have shopping centres.
